Our Mission Since
1995 Sun Valley Animal
Shelter has provided
loving, compassionate
care to unwanted dogs
and cats of the
northwest valley.
We strive to give
comfortable, temporary
housing, medical care
and vaccinations, good
food and companionship
to the scores of
homeless companion
animals that need our
help finding loving,
permanent families.
Sun Valley Animal Shelter is a modern,
progressive facility which strives to meet
the physical and
behavioral needs of the animals in our care.
We are constantly improving our facility with
the well-being and health of the animals in
mind.
Our kennels
(which can house up to 50 dogs) are clean,
comfortable and quiet. Dogs are exercised
several times a day in four large outdoor runs.
A quiet, well-furnished lounge gives our dogs a
sanctuary where they can feel like they are in a
home again.
Our cattery, with
room for 100 cats, is spacious and bright. Cats
are allowed free run of the community cat room
and a safe outdoor enclosure. A large fish
tank, and plenty of toys provide hours of
entertainment. We also have a kitten room for
the little ones to play in without all those
adult cats to spoil all the fun. Please come
